I dont listened to Thursday either. I tried it once and I just cant follow it. Ive seen them live before and they put on a good show but I just cant get into their music.

I don’t listen to either band.

Oh yeah, I also don’t see what’s that cool about the Dresden Dolls (I like the beginning of Good Day but past that not really), Paramore, Blink 182, Katy Perry, Death Cab for Cutie, Okkervil River, or Frank Turner.

Paramore is for people who can’t realize Blondie and No Doubt are infinitely superior bands.

I think the main problem I have with a lot of “pit music” is that I don’t like pop-punk and I don’t like acoustic-indie stuff. =| And I don’t like listening to bands because they were important to a genre or something. I don’t know. My music tastes are really superficial.

Eh, you make up for it by kicking ass in more relevant ways :)

KID?!?! Missy! I am at least four years older than you!! Why back in my day, you used to be made fun of for listening to Brand New and their newfangled pop punk on Morissey, but that’s because Nu Metal and Nu Grunge was still reigning over the radiowaves and Blink 182 were getting increidbly predictable and old. We also didn’t have text messaging, X-Box 360s or MySpaces…. Huh… where did that whippersnapper go?  I’m gonna go grab some Necco Waifers and read the daily telegraph…
